Frank Ellison Jr ., born April 5, 1945 in Poston, South Carolina.  On Saturday, January 16, 2021, he transitioned from labor to reward.  He was married to the love of his life, Ella Mae Lacy Ellison.  From this union five children were born, James, Rochelle, Mary, Franklin, and Frank .

Frank was a lifelong member of St. Mark AME Church, where he served on the Usher Board.  He was a member of Kingsburg Lodge #271 and retired from Marsh Lumber Company as a Boiler.  After retirement, Frank regularly attended Gibbs Senior Citizen Center.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank Ellison Sr., mother, Carrie Eaddy Ellison, sister Martha Woodberry, daughter-in-law Antoinette Ellison, two sisters-in-law, Mary Williams, and Diane self, and five brothers-in-law, Luchie Woodberry Jr., James Williams, James Lacy, Willie Lacy, and George Haynes.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife, Ella Mae Ellison, two daughters, Ella Rochelle (Timothy) Lucas of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Mary Francis (Timothy) Bacote of Florence, South Carolina, three sons, James Lemar Ellison of Pamplico, South Carolina, Franklin Gerod Ellison and Frank Emmanuel Ellison of Atlanta, Georgia, a special grandson, Jarvis Ellison, who he raised as a son; three sisters, Mary (Joe) Merrill of Eufaula, Alabama, Joan Williams of Brooklyn, New York, and Magalene Ellison of Johnsonville, South Carolina, one brother, Fred (Etta) Ellison of Johnsonville, South Carolina and a special nephew, Eddie Woodberry, raised as a brother as well; two sisters-in-law, Elnetha Haynes and Maggie Lacy of Pamplico, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Jerry Self of Pamplico, South Carolina.  He leaves sixteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved dearly.
