Mr. Judge Levie Shird the son of the late Mr. Horrom B. and Lugene Weaver Shird was born on August 30,1939 in Florence County. He departed this earthly life on March 16, 2020 in the Dr. Ronald E. McNair Nursing Center. Judge received his formal education in Florence County Public School. He was a faithful member of Aimwell Baptist Church until his health decline.

Judge worked for the Poston family for many years and enjoyed his job. He was preceded in death by his parents Horrom B. and Lugene W. Shird, two sisters Mrs. Loretha S. Brown and Ms. Leta M. Shird.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories three sisters; Mrs. Mazie S. Myers, Mrs.  Mattie (Rev I. J.) Myers and Ms. Bobby J. Shird. One brother Dea. Laurie Shird. A host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
