Elder Julia C. McWhite Weekfall, age 77, of Covington, GA went home to glory on June 25, 2018 at Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia. She was born in Florence Country, South Carolina on August 8, 1940 to George McWhite and Inez Eaddy McWhite along with her twin brother Benny Calvin McWhite.

Elder Weekfall professed her faith in Christ at an early age. She truly loved the Lord and his people. After relocating to Long Island, New York, Elder Weekfall became very active in her local church, Mount Sinai Baptist Church. She was actively involved in the choir, missionary team and ministry outreach. Accepting her calling, Elder Weekfall became a licensed minister on June 12, 2000 and was ordained as an Elder on January 9, 2005. After relocating to Covington, GA in 2008, she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church and continued her active role in ministry. She frequently ministered at the local senior citizens homes.

In a professional capacity Elder Weekfall was a retired RN, formerly employed with the Veteran's Administration Hospital ("VA"). She began her career with the VA in Northport, Long Island, NY and ended her career in Columbia, South Carolina.

Elder Weekfall was preceded in her death by both parents; six brothers; two sisters. She is survived by her twin brother Benny Calvin (Fannie) McWhite; sister Elizabeth Timmons; daughters Cynthia Denise Weekfall, Veronica Weekfall and Sabrena Jeanine Weekfall; grandchildren, Isaac Maurice Gilliam, David A. Gilliam, and Tenenshia Michelle Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Dashawn Gilliam, Syrita Gilliam, Malick Gilliam, Nia Gilliam, Johnathan Prichard, Isaiah Gilliam, Kaylaah Gilliam, Kayree King and several nieces, nephews, family members and her Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and Bethlehem Baptist Church families .
