Mary Lee (Boatwright) Thomas was born on September 7, 1951 in Florence County, SC to the late Mr. Moses and Alice Hazel Boatwright. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Donnie Boatwright and Donte Terron Boatwright and a special friend, Jonathan Woodberry. Mary Lee went home to rest from labor on Friday, December 28, 2018.
Mary Lee was reared in the "Luke Woods" community of Johnsonville, SC and graduated from Gibbs High School class of 1969.
Mary Lee was a member of Heyward Chapel A.M.E Church of Kingsburg, SC where she enjoyed learning more about Jesus. She would always bring others to church with her!
Mary Lee leaves to cherish many precious memories her son, John Jerome (Tonya) Thomas of Pamplico, SC and daughter Jennifer Nicole (Tyrone) Thomas of Johnsonville, SC; four grandchildren: Johnathan J. Weeks, Tyreeon J.J. Davis, Tianna Marissa Davis, Jacquees R. Sellers, and seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Neta M. Allison of Columbus, GA and Joyce (Clyde) Cusack of Pamplico, SC; two paternal aunts, Nannette Davis of Johnsonville, SC and Lola Mae Campbell of Conover, NC; three maternal aunts, Ruby Woodberry, Bertha Woodberry, and Alberta Sessions all of Plainfield, NJ; two sisters- in- law, Vivian Boatwright and Henrietta Boatwright; special friends, Annie Ruth Kelly (cousin) and Loretta "Cookie" Anderson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
