Reverend McKinly Graham was born on February 12, 1934, to the late President (Pres) Graham and late Albertha (Bertha) Stuckey Graham in Johnsonville, SC. He answered to the master's call on Monday, October 18, 2021.
Reverend McKinly attended the public schools in Florence County. He was also a Korean War Army Veteran with 3 years of honorable service to his country. CPL Graham entered the military in 1953 at Camp Gordon in Georgia. He served with the 3rd BN 5th (RCT) Regimental Combat Team. He served an 18-month tour of duty in Korea. He was honorably discharged from service at Ft. Hood, Texas. He was later employed with Binswanger in Florence, SC and Coastal Glass in Myrtle Beach, SC. On March 31, 2017, he was joined into holy matrimony to Carolyn G. Jackson Graham. After being pastor at many AME churches, he was a member of St. Mark AME Church.
Reverend McKinly was preceded in death by his sons, Karkas Graham, Wendell Graham; daughter, Sheena Gavin; brothers, Hamon Graham Sr., Leroy Graham, James Lee Graham and Robert Earl Graham; sisters, Geneva Graham McNeil, and Mettie Rue Graham McNeil.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, wife and love of his life, Carolyn J. Graham; daughters, Jacqueline G. (Deacon Arthur Sr.) Hanna, Carolyn (Johnny) Gregg and Alberta Gaymon; step-daughters, Sarah Pushia, Beverly (Derrick) Barring-Wade; sons, Clyde (Ruby) Barden, William Graham, Eddie Graham and Calvin Graham; sister, Geraldine (Herbert) McNeil; brothers, Apostle Fred (Bernice) Graham, Judge David Graham, Willie Joe (Elizabeth) Graham, Bobby (Ruth) Graham and John (Justine) Graham; sisters-in law, Rose M. (William) Nesbit and Emma N. Grant; brother-in-law, Rev. Kent D. Gause; a very special nephew, Rufus Graham, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
