IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Missionary Luter
B Hanna
September 25, 1931 – July 2, 2020
Missionary Luter B Hanna , daughter of the late Isaiah and Anabelle Verner was born September 25, 1931 in Hemingway, South Carolina. She was called home on July 2, 2020
Missionary Luter B. Hanna was educated in the Williamsburg County school system. She was formerly employed with Hemingway Apparel for 15+ years. She was a member of Pentecostal United Apostolic Church in Florence, South Carolina.
Missionary Luter B. Hanna was a devoted, extraordinary, and compassionate wife and mother. She married the late, Elder Bill W. Hanna on April 19, 1964. To this union they were blessed with one son, Mr. Billy E. Hanna.
Missionary Luter B. Hanna gave her life to the Lord at an early age and continued her teachings and ministering until the end. Mother Hanna was a rare jewel. She was one of those Mothers that did not come along every day; she was like a rare flower in your garden, and she would outshine all the others. Mother Hanna lived what she sung; she loved teaching the word of God.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Lillie Mae, Susanna, Lila, Rena Lee, Winnie Lou, Queen Nell, and brother Caleb, Vagas and David.
Left to cherish precious memories, a son Billy E. Hanna (Kim) two granddaughters Tiffanique and Aungelique of Atlanta, Ga, a brother John Henry (Joyce) of Harlem, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and church members.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Zuire White, Mr. Rudolph Pittman and Family, our Pee Dee Community Family, Mr. John Goss, and the entire staff of Vitas Hospice Care of Atlanta, with a special thanks to CAN Tammy Hunt and RN Nancy Munoz for the compassionate and loving care and support during her time of illness.
