Wilson James McElveen was born on Saturday, January 29, 1972, in Florence, South Carolina, the son of the late Wilson McElveen and Margaret McElveen. Mr. McElveen entered into eternal rest in his home in Pamplico, South Carolina on Monday, November 20, 2023.

Wilson James McElveen received his education in the Florence County Public School System. Wilson was employed at Marsh Lumber Company as a truck driver. He drove trucks for many years until he became disabled.

Wilson James McElveen was preceded in death by his father, Wilson McElveen.

Wilson James McElveen leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Margaret McElveen of Pamplico, SC; a sister Audrey McElveen of Pamplico, SC; a brother, Christopher Burch of Charlotte, NC; two nieces, Shakeya McElveen and Shamyia McElveen; one special niece, Deidra Graham, two great-nephews, Cameron Gorden and Jasen McElveen all of Pamplico, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
