On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, Mrs. Easter Mae Self Brown rode out her storm to be with the Lord. She was born November 9, 1955, to the late Mrs. Christine Belin Self and the late Mr. Clayton Self.
Easter was a proud graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School, class of 1976. Here she met the love of her life, and they married January 2, 1977. She was a member of Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church and worked at Commander Nursing Home until her health failed. Known for her big heart, loving and caring spirit, she was truly loved. She loved her grandchildren more than anything along with her passion for fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the apple of her eye, Mr. Larry Brown. She leaves to cherish her loving memories; son, Jason (Jessica T.) Brown and daughter, Elizabeth (Larry B.) Brown. Five granddaughters; Precious, Angel, Shanya, Jalaya and Brianna. Three grandsons; Isaiah, Caleb, and Aiden. Four sisters; Lela Mae McLaughlin and Mary Louise Brown, both of Pamplico, SC, Edith Ann Bacote of Society Hill, SC, and Ineatha Cruz of Albany, NY. One brother; Jerry Self. One godson; Antoine Keith. Six sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and three close friends; Pearlease Timmons, Lorine Reese and Joyce Washington.
