Mr. Ezekiel Woodberry “Zeke” was born June 25, 1949 to Willie E. Woodberry and Mattie Mae Davis Woodberry in the Kingsburg area of Florence County, South Carolina.
He left his earthly home on February 8, 2019. On May 6, 2006 he was united in marriage to Anne Ruth Graham and lived happily together for 12 years.
Zeke wore the distinction of being, “A Jack of all trades and master of none” and “The Black MacGyver”, because of his competent skills in carpentry, mechanics, plumbing and gardening. But the love of singing was his favorite pastime. He could sing R&B , jazz and gospel music, with gospel being his favorite. He was a member of the St. Mark AME Church Male Chorus. His signature song is Running for My Life, by Lee Williams. Some even called him “The Running Man”.
He would also give the fruit of his gardening to others in the Community, especially the senior citizens.

Inducted in US Army May 7, 1969 Honorably Discharged May 1, 1975. Rank SP4 was a supply specialist.
School
Early education Stuckey School Florence County. He attended Florence Darlington Technical College. He achieved an Associate Degree in Public Service, graduating 1999. He used this degree to become gainfully employed with Johnsonville Middle School working with special need students. He also was named to the Dean’s List of Florence Darlington Technical College the fall semester of 1996. He retired from Johnsonville Middle School in 2004.
He leaves cherish memories his loving wife, Annie Ruth Graham Woodberry, one son Branden Chadwick (Sylvia) Graham, grandchildren, Briana ShyKeria Graham, Branden Chadwick, Jr, Amare Myers and Maddox Gardner. mother, Mattie Mae Davis Woodberry of Johnsonville, SC, brothers, Efell Woodberrry of Queens, NY, Howard Davis of Bronx, NY, Jerome (Monica) Woodberry of Johnsonville, SC. Sisters, Irene Rodriquez of Charlotte, NC, Oneda Stephen (Micheal) of Bronx, NY, Ila Mae (Delonza) Hyman of Florence, SC, and Willie M Woodberry of Florence, SC.
He was preceded in death a son Shawn Trion Graham, father Willie E. Woodberry, three brothers David, Jonathan and Isaiah Woodberry.
