Isaiah Daniel Williams

 Mr. Isaiah Daniel Williams was born August 8, 1952 to Mary Shefton and Isaac Gerald in Marion County, SC. He was reared by his grandparents Chancelor and Lily Williams. He departed this earthly life on June 24, 2019 at McLeod Regional Hospital.

He was lovingly referred to as, “I.D”. by all. He met and married the love of his life, Ella Nora. They were united in Holy Matrimony on June 15, 1984. They were happily married for 35 years. To him, she was “Nora”.

I.D. graduated from Britton’s Neck High School in 1972. He became employed at Wellman Industries of Johnsonville, SC for several years. In the late 80’s he completed truck driving school and became a long-distance truck driver until his health failed.

I.D. joined Pentecostal United Church of Christ on August 4, 1981. He served faithfully on the Usher Board until June 2018.

I.D. was well known for his sense of humor that left everyone with a belly of laughter. He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving wife Ella Nora Williams; three daughters, Sula Brown of Greensboro, NC, Layota (Sukil) Yom of Summerville, SC and Ila Reese of the home; six grandchildren, Jasmine (Zach), Justin, Amber, Kaitlyn, Kiersten and Jaylen; three brothers Benjamin (Kristi) Shefton, James (Rose) Shefton and Tyrone (Ruth) Shefton; two sisters, Yvonnie (Carl) Davis and Wanda Gause; three sisters- in-law Mary Williams, Shirley Ann Davis and Melissa Davis; one brother-in-law, Elbert Davis Jr; special uncle Allen and aunt Lily Lucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
